Our Story

Liberty House Inn was originally built in 1903 serving the area as a Boarding House and a Bed and Breakfast over the years. It has now been "re-birthed" as a Bed and Breakfast and Special Occasion Venue by adding modern luxuries to its original beauty. The original heart pine hardwood floors are throughout the home. Lovely antiques are complemented by luxurious royal size beds comparable to those at larger luxury hotels in each of six spacious Guest Rooms. Liberty House Inn is located on Main Street in Historical Liberty, SC. We are minutes from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC, as well as Clemson University, home of the 1981, 2016, and 2018 Football National Champs (Go Tigers!). We are located very close to Downtown Greenville, SC, and the Blue Ridge Mountains are within close visibility and same-day travel time. We hope you will enjoy our Inn and its Southern Flair with modern amenities. Whole house accommodations also available during certain times. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion, or just passing through, you are sure to enjoy your stay in our cozy B&B!

The Liberty House Inn goes absolutely above and beyond. We were a wedding party of six that booked the night before the wedding. We arrived late in the evening and were overwhelmed by our greeting. Warm cookies, several wines, anything you could dream of was there and waiting on us. The house is amazing with big,comfy beds and beautifully done bathrooms. If you want to stay in a place that belongs in a Southern Living magazine with DELICIOUS FOOD and the greatest host, this is the place for you! Whatever occasion you are celebrating or if you're just relaxing, the Inn owners will make you feel comfortable and welcome. You'll leave with full bellies and warm hearts!
